About Mallory Otto, CNM
What makes Colorado home to you?
I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado and am a fourth generation native. I feel most at home here and love being close to my roots.
What are your passions outside of work?
I enjoy hiking, camping, skiing and biking whenever possible. I have a small urban farm with chickens, rabbits, a vegetable garden and an old, sweet mutt that keeps watch over the flock. Game nights, live music, trying new restaurants and trips to the mountains with family and friends keeps me busy on the weekends.
Why did you become an midwife?
I believe in creating a partnership with women to support them in making the best decisions for themselves and their families. I am committed to providing the most compassionate, evidenced based healthcare to women throughout their lives.
What in your career are you most proud?
I am most proud of being able to care for women in Denver and the front range for over 13 years. I truly enjoy the relationships I have built in the community, not only with patients but with other women’s health medical professionals.
What is the most important part of your job?
The most important part of my job is creating a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment for the community to access healthcare.
