About Reid Goodman, MD

What Makes Colorado home to you?

I’m a lifelong Colorado native. My ancestors immigrated to Colorado in 1891 and Colorado has been my family’s home to now 5 generations.

What are your passions outside work?

While I have deep roots in Colorado, I love to explore the world, having visited 100 countries! I love learning about other cultures and customs through travel. I cherish time spent with my family, with children and grandchildren in Denver, Chicago and Australia. When not at work or with family I am on the golf course working on my game.

Why did you become an OB/GYN?

Taking care of generations of women’s health and following in my father’s footsteps is an honor and privilege.

What in your career are you most proud about?

Over a career of 40 plus year, I have delivered over 7500 babies, including second generations. Then following these same women and providing their healthcare their entire life.

What is the most important part of your job?

As an OB/GYN specialist, I get to take care of patients as they pass through some of their most important life transitions. This is not a responsibility I take lightly. I consider it an honor to help women start and their families. AS their families age, I help them transition life beyond children.
